Here is a rock that I bought at

for $20 in November. When I got it it had 6-7 green polyps on it and this guy. Bonus. Well I call it a a rock but it looks more like a flower pot skeleton to me.
I find it curious that the green polyps which were next to the cinnamon only grew away from it.
Do you know how to propagate them so that I have more cinnamon?

that is a Palythoa Grandis it is hands down one of the most toxic palythoa on the market, DO NOT handle without gloves one cut on your hand and your hospitalized. they reproduce just like any other paklythoa, good light and meaty foods and you will have plenty of them, they can be fragged just like any other palythoa or zoanthid, peel the base away seperate and superglue gell it to the rock. it will probably spread faster if you get it away from the quicker growing greens.

not likley but if its on your skin and you rub your eye..... or touch food. I personally have a better safe than sorry theory with those, I dont touch them without gloves, all it takes is a split cuticle that you dont know about for a bad day. if you do handle it with out gloves wash your hands and fore arms afterwards.

In immunocompromised persons, particularly those with chronic liver disease, V. vulnificus can infect the bloodstream, causing a severe and life-threatening illness characterized by fever and chills, decreased blood pressure (septic shock), and blistering skin lesions. V. vulnificus bloodstream infections are fatal about 50% of the time.
V. vulnificus can also cause an infection of the skin when open wounds are exposed to warm seawater; these infections may lead to skin breakdown and ulceration. Persons who are immunocompromised are at higher risk for invasion of the organism into the bloodstream and potentially fatal complications.
