circulation for 29

In my heater questions post it was said that if i have aequate circulation i should be fine. I have two maxi-jet 600s in each corner of my tank. One on the right shooting ownward across the back and the one on the left shooting in the middle at the center of the front glass. Is this adequate? Should I aim them differently? Should i upgrade? Thanks

The way you have your ph's aimed it sounds like you might have a bit of a whirlpool going, which is not really what you want. What is needed is a cataclysmic effect. It is not such a directional flow, but a giant movement of water, if that makes sense.
No there is not much need to upgrade except for personal preference. You need 290 gph and you have 320gph, that' plenty.

A minimum of 10x turnover is reccomended though I prefer at least 20x turnover. You wanna be sure there are no dead spots so like cprdnick said you want a random flow.

so how should i point my ph's to not creat whirlpooling
