Welcome to the Boards!
A Citron Goby tends to need a carnivourous diet. You should try to offer it several different things to entice it to eat. Besides just brine shrimp, you should consider trying mysid shrimp (also try soaking these with garlic before feeding to the fish), formula one frozen blocks or even ground-up raw cocktail shrimp.
Another good suggestion is to try live brine shrimp if you have access to these (or grow your own). Many wild caught fish will not eat anything but live food until they get used to your aquarium.

I tried the brine shrimp and i believe he ate some so i am going to try that a couple more times.. Now you mentioned growing my own brine shrimp how would i go about doing that?:jumping:

It's actually not that hard. It involves buying eggs and hatching them in a bubbling container (such as a 2 liter pop bottle). The directions usually come with the eggs as there are several types of eggs available and they need different salinities to grow well. You can actually make them healthier for your fish (as brine shrimp are somewhat of a "candy" food for fish without lots of good nutritional benefits) by growing them with supplements.

do to the fact that the brine shrimp has no nutritional value and that is the only thing my citron goby eats what does that mean health wise for him becasue i try frozen food and he wont eat it but the brine he is all over it.

You might want to consider making your own fish food. Check out the receipe in the FAQ Thread at the top of this forum.
