City water problems

Just a reminder to those of you who have your own RO units, this is the time of year that cities typically start "chlorine burns" to flush out the water systems of any potentially bad bacteria.
This means: pay attention to the news, newspaper, etc. keep extra carbon or carbon block media on hand and change it out before the 30 day period is up. Changing sediment filters will also help extend the life of your membrane. If chlorine gets to your membrane is compromised, you will need to order a new one so as to not loose efficiency. That is all.
