Clam???? Need Some Help!!!

Ok i got a clam on last friday and placed it midway up on a flat pieace of LR and everything was good and.......then 2 days later the clam move a complete 90 degree and scooted over about a inch....well were i had place the clam the first time and after it move it left some kinda white fluffy tissue looking thing that was still stuck to the LR....Is the clam ok?? It is kinda get hard to get a go angle to see if it open all the way....i do see its mantle open and close when my tang swims past it...NEED SOME ADVICE what kinda ill signs should i be looking for or is this normal?

your clam is fine,it moves around a bit to where it likes the light and flow,the white stuff is a secreation it uses to attach its self to rocks
