how do you know if a clam is dying? I noticed this morning my maximus clam was receded halfway into his shell and wont shut it when i touch the shell like he used to do
the thing is he doesnt react, however, he is still in the shell and looks good, but just smaller. Normally his body would hang over the shell and now he is about half an inch from the top.
