I just bought 4 dozen little neck clams. I put one aside in some saltwater since I heard they do well in tanks. Anyone have any recomendations about putting one into a CC substrate no LR tank. Put in one or two? Any downside? Upside?

if you do put them in, they will bury themselves, however believe that type of clam needs to be in shallows at tide. so unless you drain your tank to simulate tide, it wont work.

I like them steamed personally

Not sure what to do if no one has experience with this, I do have small shrimp, gobies, hermit crabs etc.. not sure if compatiable either.

Dont put them in your tank, do soething else with this group, wait for someone who does have experience to chime in or research yourself. Once you get the information you need, then decide whether or not to go out and buy some more to add to your tank.
