Clams in a nano?

Hey I had a 55g with PCs and I was able to keep a Gigas clam(atleast I think it was a gigas). I only have a 10g nano with PC lighting. Would it be possible to have a clam in here? I've seen some people with them but do you have to have like great water quality or what? thanks

i believe you need MH's....the pc's aren't intense enough..

no, for clams, it is a necessity to have mh's or at the very least STRONG t-5s...

No, I had a clam for like 6 months with PCs and it was fine. In fact it grew quite a bit. I would like info if you can have one due to changing water factors and what not? I thought I heard they are sensative to water quality and changes.

just test for calcium i BELIEVE. also Deresas are easier to care for under pc's.... its quite possible, just most don't 'recommend' it.
