i have an odd question........I have tons of turkey wing clams in my tank that cam on various rocks. i have always seen them tucked away in there little wholes here and there....well yesterday i found one on the floor and im like ok well maybe while i was crabing he fell out of the rock....but that cant be i pulled the rock out of the front of the tank and he was in the front and a wall and a bedroom devide the two areas.....i thought nothing more till just now whe as i was feeding another one jumped..yes i said jumped out of the tank ( i am not crazy) so i threw it back in and noticed one behind 4 of my suction cups one on top of my powerhead and one on top of my skimmer. is this normal....

wow....do you think you could set up a video camera? this has to be one of the funniest things I've ever heard of. I do know that some clams in the ocean move by opening and closing to propel themselves sometimes, but other than that I've never heard of them jumping out of the tank.

My weird Hitchiker clam ( dont know what it is) decided to take up residance along the inside top rim of my tank in the back behind the overflow box. but Everynight he appears out of noware right smack in the front of my tank. Never actullay see it move. But its almost out of the water. then it goes back behind the box in the morning.
