I think the clam was doomed before I got it.
Anyway, Update, My phosphates are 0, ammonia is about .20 and falling. PH is 8.3 to 8.4, nitrates are 20ppm and falling, alk is 14. My Calcium is still 290. Yesterday I bought Kent's Turbo Calcium. I'm going to get some Tech M and a magnesium test kit today. I heard that low mag. will keep your calcium low, make it not as soluble in water. I will drip kalk. when I get my calcium up high enough.
