Clams

I have 390W PC lighting. Is it enough to house CLAMs?
I saw one at the LFS and it was pretty as $hi*. It was like golden inside, shining marble type exotic looking. WOW.
Anyway, my tanks only 3 months old. Is CLAMS hardy? Are they SPS or LPS? Do they need calcium or other additives?
Please advise...

If ur going to get a clam get a squamosa. Anything else will probably die under ur light. U need to does cal. and alk. And i would recammend u dose phyto not having MH.

hi sorry to be the bearer of bad news,but a tank 3 months old,is not ready to house a clam,there are many conflicting reports about lights but imo,thats just not enough lighting,i would wait a while longer,an try an improve on the lights to keep it sucessfully.

Ha, Yes! I forgot to say that at teh end of my first post. U really should wait a while untill ur parameters stay stable no questions asked.
