as far as keeping the clams on the rocks there are certain clams that perfer bieng on the rockwork, like a maxima clam.. My deressa clam should be on a sandbed but since i have no sand or any substrate he has done just fine on the rocks, and is going to have a new home at my friends house who has a dsb.

I keep clams on the bottom of a bare bottom tank and set them on an old clam shell.

nice, always looking for bare bottom reefers. there are too many sand bed advocates on this site. not that sand beds are bad but it didnt work for me.

Hay guy over the weekend I got 2 new clams here they are. The colors are not that good yet but there coming around.

I had to put a picture of my oyster on also. This makes 6 clams and 1 oyster in my tank.
