Which of these two are more compatible to host a BTA. Ive heard that they are both compatible so i need some clearing up on the issue.
Thanks!

Both. The more important question is whether they ate tank raised or not. Tank raises clowns have no real reason to use an anemone. That being said, I have 2 ocellaris clowns that were tank raised and they love my btw anemones. There is a thread in the clownfish sub forum on here that lists the best matches of anemones and clown species, I would just copu and paste it for you if it was not so difficult to do.
Other things to consider is the size of your tank and the other inhabitants. IMO and IME clarkiis are more aggressive than perculas and ocellaris and they also get bigger.

It's really up to you, I have to admit I don't that much about percs, just ocellaris, but IMO the maroon and the clarkii have the strongest instinct to host. So if you're really wanting to see one host as soon as you put them together I would go clarkii, but to make sure I would get a clarkii that has already been introduced to anemones before.

Thank you for the replies both of you. I plan on ordering them off this site so any prerequisites will be relatively unknown to me. Definitly going to go wild on either one and hopefully over time they will host.

My only other suggestion would be to add the anemone first. Do this for a few reasons: 1) the anemone has a chance to acclimate without the added stress of the clown beating on it. 2) the clown doesn't try to host something else in substitution to the anemone - which is what mine did and almost killed my hammer.
