Hello everyone!
I purchased an Orange Tree Sponge last weekend....it is doing great. However, I have been battling a little algae problem (higher phosphates.....was gone on a trip for a few weeks). The phospates are now again under control and the algae is dieing off the rocks, etc.
Some of the algae strands (small bits) are getting caught on the sponge. Is there a way that I can safely clean this off? I have a nail brush that I have used over the years to clean the rocks with.......thought maybe I could gently clean the sponge (very gently).
Anyone with any suggestions??? :help:
By the way the spnge is about 18-20 inches tall.
