I have just received a 47 gal tank. I have been cleaning it with just water. On the inside of the tank there is still some not much white either calcium or salt deposits I would call them specs. Should I just keep wiping them away or using my finger nail works too but is there something better to get them off. Or really not worry about?
Thanks

sandpaper

just kidding,
I've seen a "scraper"
it's plastic (looks like the razor blade for glass tanks)
I've been thinking of picking one up
I currently use one of those mag flote thingys (came with my tank) but it dosn't take off all the yellow/brownish stuff
and non amonia glass cleaner on the outside
(amonia may make it cloudy after time)
I'll keep an eye on this thread too,
I'd like to know if there's a better way

For the outside I have some Acrylic buffer-Polisher. I have 3 big boxes of stuff this guy gave me. I guess when there is water in the tank I probably wont even see it.
