I have a BioCube 29G and just added some invertebrates.
Wanting to get more, but not sure just how much is too much..

Currently Have:
  • 3x Bumble Bee snails (tiny)
  • 1x Turbo Snail
  • 1x Hermit Crab (Not sure which but hes small and looks plain)
  • 1x Astrea Snail
  • 4x Nassarius Snails
  • 1x Skunk Cleaner Shrimp
  • 1x Fire Shrimp
I want some cool-looking inverts that have nice colors/designs.
Any ideas?

I have a 20L and have

x20 Astrea Snails
x7 Turbo Snails
x20 Hermit crabs
x10 Nassarius Snails
x1 Emerald crab

I have always been told its a good rule of thumb to go with 1 snail/hermit per gallon. Thats just for your Astrea and Hermits though. Deep sand beds or alot of sand surface to clean add more Nassarius Snails. Turbos do a great job cleaning the glass also.

Hope this helped a little

Vince.

i had two turbo snails who grew quite quickly,. and within two months, I had an entire tank full of them. I would say there must have been over 100 and this was in a small 15 gallon tank! it was awful.

Yeah I've never noticed turbos in any of my tanks reproduce before. It would be awesome though since everything in the 20L is being shifted to a 125g in a few weeks. Lol
