I have just upgraded from a 110g and would like to know everyones suggestions on amount and animals to add in for a clean up crew.

what was the amount and creatures you chose for the 110? i'd say, double that and you'll be just as happy.

I agree, and that's what I had planned.
I intentionally left the amount and creatures blank because I was interested to see what everyones personal preferences would be.
Any suggestions would be great.

I think most people go crazy on their clean up crews and way over do it.
It really all depends on your ablility to keep the tank parameters in order. If you can keep everythig in tip top shape go light on the clean up crew, if not build up as you see fit.
Personally I prefer shrimps to hermits, and only a few turbo's and some sand sifters, but the numbers are all up to how much you want to spend and how many you feel will do the job

i couldn't agree more about keeping the water clean.
i like cleaner shrimp for picking up food particles as well. a few astrea snails here and there. starfish are ok, but you rarely see more than a single arm sticking out of a dark crevice in the rockwork. i have a banded serpent...which is cool to watch, when i see him....
nassarius are also good for picking up uneaten food particles, but i don't recommend a ton of them. i don't like turbos, because they knock everything over and rearrange your corals for you.
a nice mag-float for the glass, and you're good to go!

Thanks for the input.
I think what I'll plan on doing then is having:
total of:
12 nassarius (already have about 5)
60 blue leg hermits (already have 40 - 50)
15 astrea
1-2 cleaner shrimp
2 green brittle stars (already have 2)
1 cucumber (already have 1)
1 sand sifting star (already have 1)
I have a couple turbos but probably won't get anymore
I was also wondering about adding an urchin of two?

You seem to be going for water thats AMAZINGLY clean, which is good to me lol. I asked about urhins a while back and got mixed opinions. I would say a blue pincushion. Not a black longsping because theyre poisonous and the stars might get hurt if theyre dumb enough to go near. JMO, any other input would be great for both of us.

On second thought I had forgotten about how annoying it is trying to SAVE astreas every other minute because they have not evolved enough to protect themselves!
I will probably forgo the astreas and maybe look at one or two more turbos
