Are Skunk cleaners
no idea, never had them. I've had peppermints (which the CBS ate within a week), a Camelback Shrimp, which ate the CBS and live about a year or so. Right now I have a CBS. Shrimp don't live that long.
I'd do about 20 hermits or so. Can't go wrong with hermits.
It depends on what you like. I love my stars, brittle and serpent. My serpent is hand fed, he comes out, and takes the shrimp right out of my hand.
CBS is cool, but WILL eat other shrimp.
I also have a decorator crab, he's real cool. Picks stuff up and sticks it to himself.
I'd say about 20 hermits, 10 snails, a star, CBS shrimp or a few peppermints or a camelback, and Emerald crab or decorator or even both. You can always just pick something up as you find it. But you might want to wait till you have more rock before adding too many inverts. Most like lots of rock. Hermits and snail don't really care.
The 20-55 reef package says:
Scarlet Hermit Crab:10
Blueleg Hermit Crab:10
Turbo/Astrea Snail:20
Nasssarius Snail:5
Brittle Star:2
Coral Banded Shrimp:1
Emerald Crab:3
I wouldn't put two brittles, they get big, but that's me.
Go to a few lfs, watch the inverts, see what you like, then see what'll get along.
I don't feel like going to the LFS and say "can I have some snails and a crab and some shrimp"
Okay, what do you feel like doing? Are you planning on ordering online? I just my order from here on the second, everything was good.
