Clean up crew

This kind of ties in to my previous post. I started giving my SFE squid today to switch it up from his usual shrimp. Ive come to find squid is a bit messy as he won't eat anything floating he will only eat from a feeder stick or my hand. I cleaned up what left overs I could but I think I'm gonna need something in there to eat what I miss. What is a good scavenger that he won't kill?

Well, if he's only eating off a feeding stick or your hand, you might be safe.
What else is in the tank with him and what size tank?

It's a 55 gallon with 2 small damsel fish and a small chocolate chip starfish

If he's not interested in the starfish or damsels, I'd try one or two serpent starfish. They're great members for a CUC. You could also try some larger snails/hermits. I'd try out a couple Nassarius snails, they can really help with the sand bed and since they burrow most of the day except for when food is present, they're usually safe from potential predators.

Oh yea he could care less about the damsels and the starfish he's in his cave most of the day only coming out for food or when I turn the lights on in the morning. Serpent starfish freak me out so I'm going to try the hermit crabs. My local pets store has some really nice blue ones. Thanks for your input!
