Please list a good clean up crew for a 70g. tank with 2 cleaner shrimp, 1 clown, 1 hermit crab, and 1 three and one half inch queen angel. I do have a reasonable amount of brown algae with very little green algae. The crews listed on this site seem to be a heck of alot of animals to add to my tank. Thanks for all advice.

These "clean up crew" inverts, like all inverts,DO NOT add to your bio load at all.So it's not like adding a bunch of fish to your tank.Plus,The more the better.....

i dont neccesarrily agree with that, with my 90, i bought the clean up crew for i think a 50, and it was MANY critters, and they are doing just fine, i think its that that really want to sell as many things as possible.. remember.. selling is looking for a profit right?

i agree with reefman considering that each snail and hermit is supposed to have atleast 1 gallon of water for them, don't get tiger sand sifting stars they are bad, or blue leg hermits or flame scallops, they'll just die in a few weeks without proper care

i have had blue legs for an extended period of time (say like 6 months, yes i know it is not that long but, hey i got them when i got them) and i have only lost a few. most of those (afew meaning like 10) was right after they were introduced into the tank.
another thought, how can one neon goby have more effect on a fish tank than some scrale hermits?
I believe that saying hermits and snails do not increase the bioload is just silly. they eat and crap, maybe not as much as fish do, but it still adds to the system.
just my thoughts

Are there any others out there who've had problems with Blue Legged? They came highly recommended and have been doing quite well in my tank. Some have molted and changed into larger shells within the first few weeks.
