after reading the water change procedure thread on here a couple day's ago, i took a few tips on cleaning and water change. so i have been messin with my tank since about 9am it's now a lil after 2pm. first i scraped with razor blade both the sides and front of tank(usually only scrape front every month or so) completely coraline and all!! then stirred up my rocks and did 30 gal w/c. and while i was doing all this i was soaking power heads 1 at a time in vinegar water, and scrubbing them. then broke my skimmer down and scrubbed it real good! i just set my sump up so it's barely dirty so not much goin on there. any thing i missed? but any way once the tank settles i will have before and after pic's!! i know everyone likes pics!

sorry it took so long i have this new high tech camera and it will never let me upload any of my pic's any more it say's the file is to big. so all i have for now is that one but you can tell how all along the bottom and the sides of the tank are all clear now. it looks so much better now, i will never let it get like that again. i used to just let the coraline grow, just thought it was natural. but not any more i didn't clean the back too tight back there!

Agree....I do a lot of maintenance and it's amazing how a tank will look before and just a little blowing and brushing the rock work makes the tank look afterwards......

i read on that thread how you did ur water changes and made me realise that i was slacking quite a bit on my maintenance. it looks 100% better now
Actually tank maintenance is always done on Sunday for me.....It's a good excuse to be near the tv during nascar, and an excellent reason not to watch the NFL with my wife on Sundays.....hate pro football.....She hates college football....
