The coral banded shrimp is an opportunitstic feeder. You could put him in the tank and find he's grabbed something and killed it the next day. Or you could put one in and have him be fine forever.
Regardless, if the opportunity arises for him to grab something, he'll do it, and a cleaner shrimp makes an excellent meal (expensive too). The one thing cleaners can do is swim through the water column, which helps them make a getaway, but a CBS can ambush them.
So at your own risk, but honestly, if you want different shrimp, try peppermint or camelback shrimp with one or more cleaners.
