Should do fine. I have a cleaner but no peppermints, though. Most shrimp (Save the Mantis) Should do fine with each other, I think. Don't quote me on that if the cleaner is killed by swarms of peppermints.

the only shrimp that have problems are the coral banded. they live in a male female pair, if any more are added they fight to the death. also CB's have been know to go on killing sprees of other shrimp. this is not a very common thing to have happen though. make sure if you byu a pair of cb's that you have seen them coexist for a period of time (like more than a few days). it sometimes take a while for these guys to get mad.
I have a pair and have had them for 3 years now, they happily live with my skunks and my peps.

I agree. At the LFS I (and Carguy) work at, we have a 27 gallon mini-reef that contains 3 Peppermint shrimp and a cleaner shrimp. They have been in there a while and are doin ok. Also, we have a 180 in the store that contains a pair of CB's a formerly 2 cleaners. We are down to 1 cleaner now.

how many of each do tyou want but peppermints and cleaners get along fien i ahve a 55 gallon with a mated pair of cleaners and copprbanded plus i have 2 peppermints and i have absolutely no porblems

Is it true that an australian flame hawk will eat them? (the bright red fat fish).
I had a long nose hawk that ate my shrimp once, but will the flame eat them?
