yes they are the same thing, they are called quahogs, or little necks or cherry stones or chowders, depending on size. they are wayyyyy cheaper at the grocery store than anywhere else. I cant see paying four bucks fo a 30cent clam. (where I live I can go to the beach and dig them up)
