Cleaner Shrimp Babies, How to raise them?

My cleaner shrimp just had babies, I scooped as many as I can into a net and have them floating in the tank inside the net. What's the best way to keep them alive or feed them?

get an isolated tank, and keep them in it, you need a filter that would be safe for them as well, and feeding, they eat about anythingyou put in the water, i have no idea as to their success rates, but hey, if you have them, why not try
if you have a q't that has been up and empty and has never ahd copper, you cna use that for now, to try if you like
oh yeah, good catch, it is not easy ot even be ready, let alone get them, before the others eat tehm

I don't think that they eat just about anything you throw into the water! You are probably be hard pressed to find a food small enough for them t eat and a filter of any kind would most likely kill them all. Most reef aquarists tend to treat shrimp and other invert spawns (except coral and cucumber spawns which can be disasterous in captive systems) as food for filter feeders since they cannot be raised with ease. I think they Wikiki aquarium has sucessfully raised a species of shrimp to final molt. Sorry :( But hey you're doing something right to have them spawn in your aquarium in the first place! Good fishkeeping ;)

I think there was about a thousand of them in my 50g, this is the second time they had babies. Right now I'm just going to float them in a net and see what happens.

Yes, I think that would be right, or "green water". I had my pair of CBS spawn many times, but after the third molt (think that was it), when the "fry" leave the mother, I always lost them all to filtration.

Try looking at the Wikiki Aquariums web site they tell you in detail how they did it but they did mention that the first larvae foods were much smaller than brine naupalli, an thats why they lost the first couple of spawns.
