cleaner shrimp pregnancy

will someone please post a pic of a pregnant cleaner shrimp? i have no digital camera and think that i have a pregnancy on my hands .... the shrimp has little pale greenish eggs under its "fins" or what it swims with

I don't have a picture,but green eggs is a sure sign of larvae on the way.They will most likely hatch at night...your fish will enjoy the meal!

yes,the green is right.mine do it all the time. but like they said its a drive thru for the fish,lol.:happyfish

Yeah I heard even if the fish didnt eat them it is about impossible to keep them alive.

lol ok. i dont even know what impregnated it though, theres no other cleaner shrimp around, and it has been in my tank for about 8 months or so. the other shrimp i have are a banded coral shrimp and a pistol shrimp and an anenome shrimp disappeared about 7 months ago along with an anenome

Well she was probly preganted at the lfs or before she was caught and she held the sperm will she was in shipment "no need to start making babies if there scared or frightend"

i noticed that when my shrimp molted she started over within day with new larvy. if you can catch when she releases the hatchlings use a small single led flashlight shine it in a low current zone after the lights have ben off for a hour or two and the little guys will swim to it. now they are very small so keep your eyes opened. another thing i have noticed once they start to get larvy they dont stop.

i purchased one a couple weeks ago and it was pregnant at the time that i got it. The green has dissapeared by now though.
