Cleaner Shrimp Question

I am rather new at this, so pardon this question:
I purchased two cleaner shrimp for my tank yesterday as well as a few other critters and everything is going fine but I noticed what appears to be a shell of one of the shrimp lying on the bottom of the tank today. Is this normal? I am guessing that when they grow they shed their old 'skin' like a snake? Or should I be worried about something in my water causing them to do this... btw all my readings are checking out OK so I don't see any water quality problems...
Just something I noticed that I didn't understand, so I figured I'd ask :D
Thanks for your help.

I just found the answer to my question on the New Hobbyist forum... I guess shrimp molt when they are stressed out, and a new environment would qualify!
Sorry for the post.
Thanks Saltwaterfish.com!

Yours probably did molt because of stress since it's new, but they will molt periodically for other reasons too like growth. Usually they hide for a few day after molting while their new exoskeleton hardens and they regain the strength it took to molt.
