Cleaner shrimp reproduction

Can cleaner shrimps and peppermint shrimps cross breed? The reason I ask is that my one cleaner shrimp is pregnant and I don't have another one.

How long have you have the cleaner shrimp? If you just got it with in a few weeks it may have been pregnant when you get it.

It was pregnant when I got it but it laid its eggs already. It wasn't pregnant for about a week.

is it possible for the female just to develop eggs without a male. mine got this green looking stuff under it last week and then it was gone. no other cleaners in there possibly a peppermint shrimp in there but have not seen it for months. the cleaners been solo for 6 months or so.

Yeah, it does have the green stuff. Weird.
