I am wanting to buy a cleaner shrimp, but i have a couple of questions that i want to know b4 i buy it.
1.My fish have whats called "Ich" which is a parasite that cleanre shrimp eat. The only question i have is what will the cleaner Shrimp eat once its taken away all the Ich off my fish?
2. In my aquarium i also have a Coral-banded shrimp. Will the Coral shrimp attack(or eat) the cleaner shrimp? The coral shrimp is about 1.5" long.

He might or might not harrass your C.S. its all luck,, usualy the C.S. will just get out of the way. A C.S. will not cure your Ick problem, you need to find out why you are getting parasites and fix that, people have a false sense thinking that a C.S. will fix their parasite problem.

I am not a real shrimp expert, but there is another way to get rid of "ich"
There is medicine out there that you pour in your tank. I think this would be a better choice just because you won't have to worry about feeding the shrimp afterwords, unless you WANT a cleaner shrimp

I did treat the parasite problem. The water is fine and the ich on the fishes scales dont seem to get worse. The only problem is, is that the ich wont just fall off the skin. And if cleaner shrimp dont take off the ich, then what do they eat?
it even says on this website about them "In nature, these shrimp set up large cleaning stations on the reef where fish will come to have parasites picked from their skin"
Yea but only problem is to the medication is that if i aply it to the aquarium, it will affect inverts i have. It even says on the the bottle that i looked at."May harm invertebraes."

first of all, there are other ways to treat your ich problem than just what you're doing. for your problem of the medicine harming inverts, you could take out the fish and put them in a big bucket which you filled with your tank water and then put the medication in. another way is to take one fish out at a time and dip them in freshwater(no salt, but still the right temperature and no chlorine) for around 10 to 15 secs. it wont harm the fish much but it might kill the bacteria and bad stuff.
it's just what i did when i had an ich outbreak and it worked.also syphon out a lot of water and put in new water because Ich is not only on your fish it's also in the water.
