i was told no, the cleaner shrimp are tiny and scrawny, wont be able to handle a cbs
however i was told a fire/blood shrimp had a good chance of being able to handle itself, i havent tried to add a cbs, but i dont think i wanna risk it
i have already tried a couple small cleaners and they disappeared.
i am getting 3 bigger cleaners tuesday.
i have a bunch of tangs that get a little ich once in a while and want to help it out.
i think i will try to catch the cbs and put him in my fuge .
my cbs is as big as my fist with the anttena.
the cleaners will be probably half his size.
i actually caught him in ten minutes and put him in my fuge.
i dont want to take the chance again since i dont know what happened to the other shrimp.

I had a cleaner shrimp...and a cbs once...They never bothered each other...one stayed on one side of the tank..the other on the other side...the reason I say HAD is they became Stingray food
i have over 300 lbs of rock.
i have seen the cbs try to poke at my 7 inch blue throat trigger so i have seen he aint afraid.just didnt know he would harm the cleaners.
i put him in my fuge this morning so i wont have to worry when the cleaners go in.
