Cleaner Shrimp won't come out.

I got a cleaner shrimp at my LFS about a week ago. He seems to be afraid of my Sailfin Tang. He just sits back behind this rock where none of the fish can get to him. Is it possible he was tank raised and has never seen a fish?
My old cleaner would run around all over the place. Should I try to coax him out with food?

IT took almost 2 months before one of mine would come out and clean the other hides under the rocks and only cleans fish at night when the lights are off.

Sometimes they can take a while to adjust....and if they have recently molted they'll hide until the new skeleton hardens...I'd give it some time before taking any drastic action to lure him out.

I agree, mine seem to hide more than my last one. I think they have there own personalities.
