do cleaner shrimp shed their skin?
i have some skin next to my shrimp.. do i leave it in the tank, or pick it up each time it does so?:notsure:

Yes, they shed their skin. It shouldn't be a problem. If you don't like it, take it out.

All crustacens will shed their skin, its part of their life cycle, kinda like a girl and her monthly...u know. LOL. Not EXACTLY the same, but close enough. Just watch out for him though wen he sheds, cuz he is vulnerable during that ime and might get picked off by even the smallest fish in the tank.

You will see it also called molting. They do this to grow and also to heal..
