cleaner shrimp

My cleaner shrimp has gotten some black spots on it, not round just kinda like small blotches...any ideas?

You could just be looking at waste through its shell, And if you really think its on his shell, it should come off next molt.

My Cleaner Shrimp used to have this exact same thing.
It will come off with the next molt, but I have since modified my skimmer to make it more efficient and the spots have gone away. It may be a surplus of organic waste material which the shrimp is depositing into its shell.
