cleaner shrimp?

when cleaner shrimps shed they tend to hide I read but how long does that take for them to come out?
I think my cleaner did shed as I saw his skin stuck in one of my power heads and since then he has gone into hiding and didnt come out for 3 days now is this normal?
I know where he is hiding as I see him he just doesnt come out.???

My 3 peppermint shrimp usually stay in hiding for a week after a molt, sometimes longer.

LOL... my peppermint shrimp remain hiding 100% of the time, molt or not. My cleaner shrimp hide maybe one day after a molt, if you can see him there is nothing to concern yourself with..

looks like he is just very shy of any kind of light
checked out my tank tonight with moonlight on couldnt see him right away so used a flaslight as soon as I spotted him with the light he ran for it.

well my cleaner shrimps never did that they only time they hid was when they were new to the tank

I guess shrimp are different in personality as well. I see my peppermint shrimp all the time in the 30G tank, but I put some in the 90g and they were never seen. I have a fire shrimp that never comes out. I have never seen an anti-social cleaner shrimp, as a rule they are brave unless right after a molt. One day is all mine ever hid.
