cleaner wrasse

Ive had cleaner wrasses before and had this specific one for 8-12mnths. Fish acted fine everyday until we went out of town for a week and came back to a missing wrasse. nearly a month later the wrasse shows up extremely hungry and acts normal for 1 month then all of a sudden goes missing again and hasnt shown up since and has been missing for about 3 weeks now. Has anyone ever heard of this or experienced this before. All water tests good and other fish have been fine. Thanks

Mine did the same thing,then one day it didn't show up at all, so I started to look for it, and then I found it dried up on the floor

. Check around your aquarium . It may have jumped out of the tank. If not ,it'll probably show up when it gets ready.

My cleaner wrasse was front and center every day. Ate every day and made in to 20 months then passed away overnight. They are beautiful and most don't make it this far. They can be very cryptic sometimes.
