Cleaner Wrasse...

Are Cleaner Wrasse difficult to keep? Do they actually "clean" in aquariums? I've heard they were difficult to keep in posts on this board, but I've also heard the same about mandarins which I've had luck with since the fuge was added. Pod City!!!
After looking at the U-build it page for the thousandth time I noticed SWF sells them. I know I could put a big enough order together. Is it worthwhile? Is it "responsible"?

cleaner wrasses are not a hrady fish they do not do well in the tank. most disappear in the tank and the res die slowly from starvation.
so the consensus is leave them in the ocean.

Just to add, try the cleaner shrimp route instead (scarlet shrimp and it's on the U build it section also). ***I didn't look at what you had in your tank, so if anything is in there that will go after shrimp, then disreguard what I just said.****

All I needed to hear...No cleaner wrasse for me.
I already have a cleaner shrimp and I watch it clean my clown fishes teeth every day. I actually noticed that my pepermint shrimp was trying to clean some of the fish as well. Hmmmm.
