Cleaning a CPR back pack

Well, my family has a tradition of opening one gift ever xmas and i opened mine today and... my mom had found a used cpr backpack that is clean but just a little dirty (she got it for 5 bucks!) how would you get all the dust off of it?

I would soak it in hot, scalding hot, water. Do you have a bucket big enough to put it in and keep it covered in water? Anyway, once the water is cooled off enough to put your hands in it, take an unused toothbrush and scrub the dust off of it.
I've never done that to a skimmer, but it worked for me when I did it to a filter. :thinking:
Just don't use soap. :nope:
