Cleaning help?

This is my first acrylic tank and I was wondering if there are other things to use to clean the "glass" other than the acrylic scrappers they sell at stores? The other question is how do you get down next to the sand bed with out disturbing it when you clean? I know that ? is probably a stupid one.

I just use a quality magnet scraper with the softer material made specifically for acrylic tanks. Also, i just use the magnet scraper very close to the sand bed, disturbing as little as possible. stirs up just a little, and ive had no ill effects from doing so thus far. not sure if there is a better or easier way, but seems to work ok for me.

Mike, I have had many acrylic tanks and just use the acrylic safe magfloats and scrubber pads. I also have one of the Kent scappers that I use near the sand bed and corners. Just be real careful not to get sand under the magfloat. I can show you what happens if you do.
