Cleaning Live Rock Die Off

I have about a 150lb of live rock that has been curing in my 75gal for almost a week. My question is about removing the die off. I have a toothbrush but it is a little daunting to have a little toothbrush and 150lb of live rock to clean. I bought a scrub brush, the bristles of it are as stiff, as say, a toilet bowl brush.
Can I use this or will it cause to much damage to the rock?
Do I need to worry about scrubing to hard or to much?

Baisically, you need to remove visable stuff like sponges and anything else hanging off. Give it a once over with a brush will be good enough. You are not trying to polish it up so to say. just remove visable dieoff. Barry

Yes, you can use a brush as stiff or stiffer than a toilet bowl bruch with no problems. When curing my LR I woud give it a good once over every few days to remove any die off. I picked up a brush at Lowes for about $3 that works great for LR.
