I have a 29 gallon tank and im looking to start stocking up on crabs, snails, and anything else that i would need. Im wondering how many of each thing i need in order to keep algae, waste, and other stuff under control. so how many of the following would u guys recomend? blue legged hermits, scarlet hermits, turbo snails, nassarius snails, cleaner shrimp, emrold crabs... or anything else that im forgetting.
right now there is about 35 pounds of live rock. its going to be a reef tank. i have a skimmer. if there is any other information about the tank u need to know ask, but seems like those would be main factors in picking a cleanup crew.
Thanks!

i have checked the clean up crews here. the problem with them is they have a reef package for 20-55 gallon tanks. so if i got that package for my 29 gallon it would have twice the animals/per gallon as someone who got it for their 55 gallon tank. so would this leave some animals to go hungery in my tank? or would the person with the 55 gallon tank need a few extra animals to help the reef package clean? Thats why i asked for some peoples opinions from the board.
Thanks

i have 4 mexican turbos, 1 blue leg hermit that i dont like, a brittle star, a queen conch, and 4 nassarious type snails. I dont have any green hairy algae growing on my live rock and there is minimal algea (almost looks like green corraline but its not) growing on the back wall of my tank, the snails usually go up there for a bite when they are not grazing on the rocks. I would like to have a few more nassarious or cerith snails just to diversify a little bit. but i wouldnt go with a whole bunch just for the reason you stated. I have never had a snail die keeping so few. dont know if thats the exact reason, but i like that none have died. and the mexican turbos are getting big.
