I recently got 25 lbs of FloridaLiveRock.com rock to add to my 20 lbs. of fiji in my 29g w/20g sump. The rock didn't really have any hitchhikers (other than clams), so the only thing in the tank other than the rock is 8 blue leg hermits, 8 margarita snails, and a peppermint shrimp (which is always hiding, is it nocturnal?)...anyway i was going to order somethings from Saltwaterfish.com, and they have a minimum order of $79...i ended up having to buy a few extras just to make the order limit...but i'm still saving money....the list consists of:
1 Emerald Crab
2 Skunk Cleaning Shrimp
3 Featherdusters
10 Cerith Snails
1 "Deep Sea Yellow" Gorgonian
I will add these guys to the tank in about a week or two when the cycle is complete....just to have something to look at until i can get fish....does this sound like a good list to you?? Anything you wouldn't recommend/ WOULD recommend that i'm leaving off? Thanks

I would say save the Gorgonian for a later date.
You may also want to consider getting about 10 Nassarius Snails. Don't worry about the Peppermint, sometimes they're nocturnal and sometimes they're not. I have 3 that are always out in the day.

New2Reefin,
Welcome to the boards! I thought I'd mention, since you are new, that its a big no-no to mention other websites here. :nope:
Good luck with the new setup! :D

i am new at this, but i did read that a nudibranch is for the expert aquariest only, apparently when they get scared they expell their inards and kill everything in your tank, also when they die they do the same thing, just a suggestion, but i would ditch the nudibranch.

Naw, sea cucumbers do that (I have experience with a self destructing cucumber: that sucker exploded like a terrorist, took out all my fish, the shrimp survived though) the lettuce nudibranch likes to jump into powerheads and turn into goo.
