ok...I have a 55g tank that has been set up just about a year. It has about 70 lps of live sand. about 2 weeks ago I found a clear jelly like sak about the size of a quarter round attached to to the sand bed. I took it out and it was a very thick...like Jelly! Tongiht when I was feeding my fish I saw another one. What would this be? Snail eggs? hermit eggs maybe? any idea? I have Blue legs, a few different types of snails in there, and emerald crabs. Do you think its from any of them or something else. Any ideas? Has anyone else ever seen this! let me know...thanks

I have the same stuff in my tank. I think it's snail slime or something like that. I notice it when snails flip on their back and try to flip back over they release some sort of slime.

i dont think the stuff from wrasses is really jelly like. its more like a really thin film and it would most likly float around until it goes into the filter, it wouldnt sit on the floor.
