yup. looks like it to me. There are traps you can use, or if you see it go into a whole in a piece of rock you can remove, set up a bucket with water, and place the rock in there until it comes out.

LOL... might be a dumb question but how long does this usually take for him to "Sense" the shrmp and go after it...?
holly mole how lucky are you. anyway i have never tried this but, i would give it a try. take a piece of shrimp put it in a fish net hold it near the opening in the rock when your matins grasps the shrimp scoop it out quickly

I saw the second one today on the other side of the tank and he was beautiful. His shell was blue and his claws and body were mostly red. The other one, that I just saw briefly for about 20 seconds is all gray and a little smaller.
For the last 10 mins I keep hearing clicks going back and forth between the two sides of the tank...
