Closed loop design?

I have a extra mag7 and I am wanting to put it to use for my 75. i was looking at melevs design but it looks a little hard. im looking for a really simple way to put this mag7 to work.

Put a 1/2" threaded screen fititng on the intake, a short length of pipe with a "T" at the top on the output and a couple of loc-line fittings coming off of that for your outputs.
Then just just drop the whole thing into the back of the tank behind your rockwork.
That's the simplest closed loop I can think of.

I did the melev's closed loop. If you don't care about extra noise, go for it. I couldn't take the noise and went back to powerheads. my tanks in my living room.
