Closed Loop VS. Powerheads

Well, I want to eliminate the need for powerheads in my 55 gallon tank. So, I though I could used 3/4" bulkheads to add water flow and eliminate the need for powerheads. I will have a turnover rate of about 13x's with the sump/fuge return and was looking to be at about 17 - 20X after the closed loop. I will use elbows to shoot the water to the sides of tank from the middle of the back glass where the bulkheads will be. In additiion the return from the sump will have a spray bar which I can agitate the surface of the water. Will the closed loop eliminate my need for powerheads in the tank. Also since we are talking about 200 - 400 GPH what is a good closed loop pump, Mag Drive 3 or ?
I just don't like the look of the cords and everything hanging in the tank. I figured the elbows could be hidden behind LR.

Alright, I toned it done a little, got 245gph for the sump/fuge. Now using a Mag 7 with the Closed Loop and a SCWD and getting around 350 GPH. Have a ASM G-2 and it has a Sedra 3500 on it pushing 350 GPH. So that is 945GPH total, divided by 55, that is around 17X turnover total. Now, my Sump/Fuge Tank is a 55 as well so, if it is 945/110, it is only around 8.5X turnover. Can I add powerheads to the sump tank to get more turnover? I think if I get more flow through the MT it will be way too crazy!
