:help: I am trying to figure out how to make my water clearer every since i added salt to the tank it has been pretty much cloudy is there something i can put in it to make it clearer or do i have to sit back and wait a while and just let it do its work if there is another way let me no... THANX ROOKIE

How long ago did u add the salt in? Have u checked yer salt level? You may have added too much salt, so the excess salt has no where to go, which means that is will cloud the water. Usually if you put in the right amount of salt, it dissolves right in. U prob have too much salt in ther, so cehck yer salt levels. Yer welcome

I dont know what i did but i woke up this morning and saw the whole tank crystal clear so i threw in 4 damsel 1 leopard puffer and 3 hermit crabs and 3 pds of live rock to get my cycle started i have too emporer 400 running as slow as i can get them and i got to power head and my water level a lttlei low so the water coming out of the filter will add air to the water and my fish are doing really well which i was so happy i satred at them for like a hour and a half i am adding bira spira to help along my cycle here probably in the next week i want to check the water here after a few days and see what the deal is b4 i make the decision is bira spira good or no?

Get the fish out please

. They may seem happy, but they will die. The crabs are aight, just peachy. Damsels are OKAY, but that Puffer will just PUFF out, ya know? They are hardy, but damage will be long term. One damsel, the one u like the least. Throw in like a piece of cocktail shrimp, or maybe even just a frozen piece of fish. It'll decay, start yer bacteria and waht not. The live rock and live sand will help you out a bunch too. Still, check yer salt levels, cuz they might be high, and run yer magnum fairly fast to create a good amount of flow. This will help to maintain less algae growth, make the fish feel at home (strong current) and whatnot. So please get the fish out, please?

The water is clean and clear and i need a answer on the bira spira the puffer is doing fine and i feed my fish brine shrip and my pufer takes the big chunk and swims across the tank and just sits there and pecks at it i added more rock today just waiting to see to c if it it cylces or not...
