Cloudy looking ring around eye?

My Hen. Butterfly has a dougnut shaped cloudy ring around its eye. This is a fairly new fish to my tank and was healthy when I got it. I went on Vacation for 6 days and I don't think my timer worked on my light so the light was on straight for six-7 days. Not sure if this could have caused it but what do i do if anything? No other fish are presenting any signs. Kelly

Terry, I didn't use a net since I got it. And now the other eye is the same way. I have about 4 days left with the antibiotic then I am going to do my water change. I checked my levels and everything is right on? He is eating good but the eyes look terrible and the one has I think a substantial amount of blood in it (for a fish). My yellow tang was kinda chasing him around for a few days at first could this be part of the problem? Kelly

You're treating with antibiotics? Could you give some details about that? What antibiotic? Hopefully, you are not treating in the tank.
Also, who was taking care of your fish while you were gone? What about feeding them, evaporation, etc.?

Yes, I am treating the entire tank- My product and my LFD both agree it is safe. I had a friend who also has a saltwater tank feed them. Anyway I think it is starting to look better and will be done with the antibiotics on WED.

It is Helafix. Dose is 5mg./10gal. Seems to be working.
