i have been cycleing a 125 gal tank for 3 weeks and so far 3 clowns 2 damsils 1 scarlet cleaner shrimp and 1 yellow headed jawfish are doing good
ph is 8.2
nitrate is 5.0
nitrite is 0.0
ammonia is 0.25
i have a strange brown alge growing on the sand that i have heard is semi normal
but the water is getting cloudy i have not seen any referance to this issue so far should i be alarmed?

Well everything you listed is pretty much negligable. You do have a trace of ammonia but its not horrendus and will not likely kill anything. The brown algae sounds like an algae bloom which can be a result of several things.
Do you use RO water or tap water?
How often do you feed?
Do you have any other inverts in the tank to clean up?
Your water is probably getting cloudy from the algae growing and the organics in the water. If you can check your phosphate levels and Silicate levels. I think both are conducive to that kind of algae growth. I know at least phosphate levels are and heard silicate levels play a part....
