Clowdy from the salt mixture?

I just set up my 90 G. How long will the salt mixture take to clear? The water is really clowdy. Is that normal?

Depends how you mixed it. Give more detail on what you did. The best way is to premix it with a powerhead at temps above 70 deg for 24 hrs. Being that it is a new set up it is ok to mix it in the tank as long as the tank is bare. Just keep lots of circulation going and it will clear shortly.

Is there substrate in the tank, and is it new too? If so, this may be the cloudiness too.

Don't worry - happens to all of us. When you do water changes from after initial setup - us a 5 gal bucket and mix your water/salt the day beofer the change. Keeps the salinity consistent and keeps the tank form getting cloudy.
Besides if you have any hermit crabs (i lost count at 30ish) they don't like to eat the salt on the bottom.
