Well my dad wants a clownfish for the tank, he wants a tomato clown, i want a pink skunk clown.
Does yours show any sign of aggressiveness? with and without an anomie. I like to hear some stories :D

I have a tomato in my 20 and it's quite aggressive sometimes. He always chases around my other damsel whom even got chased by a cleaner shrimp incredilbly. I never had a pink skunk b4. I believe tomato clowns are the more aggressive of the two but I personally feel the tomato clowns are the better looking ones. :) :)

My tomato clown is pretty aggressive towards all my other fish. The tomato and maroons are the most aggressive IMO. If I had your tank, I would go with the false perculas. They have alot more personality, and they aren't as shy as my tomato is. Also, what ever kind of clownfish you get, I would get a pair and add them at the same time. If you have a pair of any kind of clown, they seem to have more personality when kept in pairs, rather than when kept by themselves. :D

not sure about the skunk, but tomatoes are very aggressive as far as clowns go. JMEO
if you want less aggression, go with oescelleris(SP), aka false percula

I like my two pink skunks. They are lacking the personality of something like the false percs, but I still think they are pretty fish. I had a little false perc for a couple of months that would nibble on my arm any time I put it in the tank. Unfortunately he died and I never could figure out why. Anyway if you are just looking at these two fish my vote goes for the pink skunks. If you want suggestions for any clown I would go with the false percs for personality. HTH.

for personality go with the percs, I love mine, very active, zero aggression, and I can hand feed mine. They come right up to the tank when you look in and if you put your hind in they swim all around it.

i just got a perc today, hopefully it will be friendly:D
i like my maroon, it always goes up to the front of the tank looking at who ever is watching it. i guess it trusts me, it never attacks me when i go near the anomie and when i put a huge net to catch my cleaner shrimp, the maroon was the only one willing to go inside the net and get something to eat, i had to use my hand and move the clown out:D, he/she always messes up my photos
hopefully my perc will be like that

If your going to have any thing like an eel or a condelactyus anemone You should have gotten a bigger one, mine was eaten by an anemone. If anyone wants a clown that can hold its own and make a good tankmate, I would reccomend a sebae or a baby maroon, I strongly advise against a tomato because they are so aggressive and large and will kill tankmates as an adult.
